Time: 9:05 PM – 9:45 PM
Venue: Students’ Common Room (CR), St. John’s College
Attendance: Nearly 60 freshmen
Summary:
The SJCAA Freshmen Night was held last night at the CR of St. John’s College, with close to 60 freshmen in attendance.
The evening began with an address by Dr. KC Wong, our Master, followed by Chairman Vincent Chiu, who presented the general picture of the SJCAA and outlined our strategy.
Our Directors — Ling Ling, Jenny Li, Ryan, and June — then took the stage to introduce the various activities organised by the Alumni Association.
The session concluded with a Q&A led by Dr. Chris Chan.
Although the meeting started slightly late at around 9:05 PM, it finished right on time by 9:45 PM.
By the end of the evening, all attending freshmen had gained a clear understanding and background of the Alumni Association. Each also received a beautiful long umbrella as a souvenir of the evening.
