SJC X HKU Alumni Day + Cheese, Oysters & Wine Workshop!

Dear St. Johnians and Alumni

We are excited to announce the upcoming SJC X HKU Alumni Day, along with an exclusive Wines and Cheese, Oysters & Wine Workshop (COW). We cordially invite you to join us for this exciting event.

Date: March 16th (Saturday)
Time: Starting from 2:30 pm – 7:30 pm
COW: 4:30 pm – 6:30 pm (Dining Hall)

The HKU Alumni Day will take place on March 16th, at the HKU Campus; and if you haven’t already enrolled, we kindly request you to do so using the link provided below: –

Furthermore, the SJCAA would like to extend a warm invitation to all alumni, whether you are attending the HKU Alumni Day, to return to the College and revisit your alma mater. Starting from 2:30 pm on the same day, we have arranged a range of activities exclusively for our alumni, including a professional photo booth, student performances, and a hall tour.

Additionally, we are offering an enticing Cheese, Oysters & Wine Workshop at a special price of HKD 380 per person (with a discounted price of HKD 200 for current students). The workshop, which will be held at the Dining Hall – facilitated by 4/f Mr. Lee Koon Lam, 6/f Mr. Alex Ho, 9/F Miss Ellen Lam, will serve 5 types of wines, paired with 4 types of cheese and 2 types of oysters (4 total), plus one of the 111th Anniversary souvenir – the Universal glass as a gift.

In this workshop, you will not only learn about pairing different wines with cheese and oysters but also get hands-on experience in using the oyster knife to open a raw oyster by yourself! It’s a fantastic opportunity to enhance your culinary skills and knowledge.
