Given the enthusiastic response from last year, we are excited to announce that “St. John’s College Round the Island 2024” will be happening again. This year’s theme is “Run For All”, symbolizing all of you who unite to run towards limitless possibilities, You are thus cordially invited to join hands and challenge yourselves in completing this meaningful and charitable marathon with the St. John’s spirit of unity. The run will start from St. John’s College and go around Hong Kong Island, passing by Sheung Wan, Causeway Bay, Tai Hang, Repulse Bay and Aberdeen, for approximately 31 km.
We have also set up the 11.1km race, starting from St. John’s College and ending at Victoria Park in Causeway Bay.
Details as follows:
Date: 27 – 28 April 2024 (Saturday- Sunday)
Time: 11 pm – 8 am (The run starts around 1 am. It takes roughly 4-6 hours to finish. )
Starting and Finishing Point: St. John’s College, 82 Pokfulam Road
The run is open to participants aged from 18-65.
All profits, after deducting operational costs, will be donated to Dream Compassioneers, an NGO founded by 10/F alumnus Christie Lai, to support their dedication to providing daily necessities and education opportunities for school children in poverty-stricken regions.
