HKU Alumni Day 2026: A Celebration of Connection and Community
The HKU Alumni Day 2026 was a remarkable occasion, bringing together alumni to celebrate the vibrant spirit of the HKU community. At our booth, we welcomed all alumni on this special day, including President and Vice-Chancellor, Professor Xiang Zhang. He gave a shout-out to St. John’s College as an integral part of the university. His visit highlighted the essential connections our college fosters among alumni.
Our booth buzzed with excitement, thanks to the dedicated efforts of both the SJCAA directors and current SJC students, who helped create an engaging experience for all. We had a great mix of souvenirs this year— keychains 港大 聖約翰, removal tattoos聖莊, and 111th anniversary items — all warmly received by alumni and visitors. Interactive game centered on college history and stories provided a fun way for participants to learn about our heritage.
Another standout feature of our booth was the display of the “Flying with Eagles” program, a special interview series showcasing our prestigious alumni in celebration of our 111th anniversary. This program captivated attendees and highlighted the remarkable achievements within our community.
