Final Painting Unveiling and 111th Anniversary Reunion Dinner

Invitation to the Final Painting Unveiling and 111th Anniversary Reunion Dinner of St. John’s College – One & Only One

We are pleased to announce the completion of the final masterpiece, “HKU and St. John’s,” by our talented artist Ms. Elaine Chiu. This remarkable artwork (attached) beautifully captures the essence of both HKU and St. John’s, showcasing the iconic buildings that hold a special place in our hearts. It serves as a magnificent conclusion to the remarkable series of three paintings: “The Youthful St. John’s,” “The Glory of St. John’s,” and now “HKU and St. John’s.”
We cordially invite you to join us for the unveiling of these exquisite paintings during the cocktail session at 6:00 pm at the Foyer of the Grand Hall on 18th November. This might be your last chance to have a live encounter with these beautiful works of art before they are sold.
In addition to the artistic showcase, the evening promises to be a memorable one, filled with delightful food, exquisite wines, and a range of exciting programs. You can look forward to the debut performance of the new song, “The Anthem of Aquila,” specially composed for the 111th Anniversary of St. John’s. The event will also feature captivating performances by the choir and floor songs that you won’t want to miss. Furthermore, it will be a wonderful opportunity to reconnect with fellow St. Johnians whom you may not have seen in years.
We have already issued tickets to a thousand participants, but if you have registered and have not yet received your ticket, please contact sjcaa@hku.hk, and our team will promptly assist you.
