The Apollo Project Plague
All the 104 solar panels were neatly installed on the rooftop of Wong Chik Ting Postgraduate Hall at the end of November 2019. In the month of December 2019, they have generated HKD 11,490; via HK Electric’s Feed-in Tariff (FiT) Scheme. Considering it is now winter and the solar energy is not as strong, our target of HKD 140,000 per year should be achievable. This annual income, about 20% of the initial cost of $700,000, will be used to help needy students in the College.
We are most grateful for kind support from our generous donors for the Apollo Project. We have already raised about 50% of the initial cost.
A plague to honour all the donors has been installed at the entrance of the Third Wing.
