SJCAA Pickleball Fun Nite: A Night of Sport and Community
The SJCAA is thrilled to report on a highly successful and enjoyable Pickleball Fun Nite, held on Friday, 31 October 2025, at the fantastic new Yama Pickleball Arena in Wong Chuk Hang.
The event saw 16 enthusiastic alumni come together for an evening filled with activity and camaraderie. It kicked off with an informative session on the rules of pickleball, expertly delivered by Douglas Chiu, which prepared everyone for the games ahead.
Participants were then split into two groups for friendly but competitive doubles matches. The courts were buzzing with energy as players, from seasoned pros to complete beginners, dove into the action. It was particularly rewarding to see those new to the sport discover a new passion and enjoy themselves so thoroughly.
Beyond the sport, the evening served as a wonderful networking opportunity, allowing alumni from different graduating years to connect and bond over a shared experience.
