Dear Alumni
Greetings and Peace be with you. Once again, we are most delighted invite you to participate in St john’s College’s Commemoration Service and Reunion High Table on College’s 105 Anniversary on Monday, 6th November 2017.
This annual event is especially arranged that you may Celebrate and Offer up Thanksgiving to our Lord for His blessings to College in the last 105 years. On this very meaningful day:
a. To meet fellow alumni as well as current students;
b. to update ourselves on the latest development of the College;
c. to commemorate College benefactors including our brother Danny; and
d. to celebrate the sacrifices of alumni have made during WWI, and in defense of Hong Kong and/or their homelands from foreign invasion during WWII and after.
We have invited Prof. Ian Holliday, Vice-President of HKU, as speaker at High table Talk. The topic is “The importance of internationalization for HKU and its implications for Hong Kong”.
The schedule for the evening will be as follows:
6.15 pm. Sherry (Senior Common Room, 2/F, Liang Chi Hao Building)
7.00pm. Remembrance and Commemoration Service (Dining Hall)
7:30 pm. High Table Talk (Dining Hall)
8.00 pm. Dining
8.40 pm. Coffee and Tea
8.45 pm. Q&A (Senior Common Room)
As with the previous year, this event is jointly organized by the College and the Alumni Association.
