Year Plan (2004-05)
With the summer heat fading away, our Exco has met recently to discuss on our year plan. You will find below a mixture of traditional and new activities spreading over the whole golfing season from August 2004-May 2005: –

Upon popular demand, we are planning to organize two golf clinics for golfers of different levels, one for beginners (held for the second year) and one for players of intermediate level. The Golf Tournament for Lady Golfers is a new one. We hope that through the tournament, more lady golfers can be identified and encouraged to join our activities in future. The SJCAA Golf Day to be held traditionally in November every year is our traditional event. As before, it will be divided into two parts – tournament and leisure golfing. The Golf Outing scheduled in January 2005 is intended to serve both as a Spring activity as well as a warm-up match for the Golf Malayan Cup to be held in March, which will be the highlight of the Golfing Season. The last activity on our calendar is another Golf Outing intended to be the finale of the season. If sufficient interest is shown among members, we will consider going to a far-away place such as the one in Spring City (China) or a golf resort such as Blue Canyan in Phuket, in the form of a Golf Holiday (for both golfers and their family members.)
Golf Clinic for Beginners (Class A)
Date : 26th August 2004 (Thursday)-16th September 2004
Lessons : A total of 4 lessons of 1.5 hrs each for 4 consecutive weeks
Venue : City Golf (Jordon) or Kai Tak (OGC)
Head Coach : Mr. Edmund Wu Ka Po (the first and only teaching pro of SJC orgin)
To be assisted by several assistants who are all award-winners of SJCAA Golf Tournaments
Time : 8:00p.m. -9:30p.m.
Fee : Approx $480 (i.e.$120 per lesson)
(Originally $1,000 as the Head Coach and his assistants have kindly agreed to waive their coaching fees)
(This will include the bay rentals, beverages and subsidy for the graduation dinner to be held immediately after the last lesson on 16th September 2004)
