Nearly 250 Alumni from the 80’s gathered around the Dining Hall of St. John’s College to witness their 15 to 25 years of friendship.
There were also some Alumni from oversears making a special trip back to HK for this occasion – Dr. Yip Kam Hung, Ms. Annie Fung, Tai Bill, Anne Marie.
All the Alumni were also very excited when they saw our special Guest of Honour – Dr. Rayson Huang – ex-Vice Chancellor of HKU in the 70’s to 80’s during the Reunion dinner. Dr. Huang was also a St. Johnians during the 40’s.
In addition, there were also 8 staff from the 80’s coming back for the dinner including “So Si Fu”, ‘Yee Jee”, “Kau Jee”, “Kwok Goh”, “Yuk Jee”, “Fun Jee” and also “Elisa Chan” from the College Admin.
More than HKD10,000 were raised for the Kvan Exhibition during a new concept of Silent Auction.

The highlight of the evening was the Specila Quiz called Search for the Lost Memories conducted by our two MC -Nixon Lee and Bunny Leung to three groups of St. Johnians representing 3 different eras within the 80’s. They were required to answer some very special questions after looking at those old photos from the 80’s.
The Dinner ended at 10:30 pm and there were still a lot of follow-up in the late evening including a visit to the new St. John’s SA cabinet who was doing their campaign in the Common Room on that night.
Limited number of this VCD/DVD capturing the some video and photos taken during that night and a collection of all the pictures shown during the event is now available online for sale at only HK$100 each (including delivery).
