Why do people start playing GOLF?
“It’s addictive. This sport releases endorphins. Golf is one of the few sports that can be enjoyed from your childhood to the very last day of your life. Due to its high level of difficulty, there will always be room for improvement. You will want to learn on a daily basis, perform exercises, read books and blogs, take lessons. Golf will become a personal challenge.”
“Golf burns more calories than you?d think: playing an 18-hole game of golf burns at least 900 calories. Golf also combines all the known weight-loss benefits of walking combined with the toning and muscle strengthening benefits of swinging the clubs and carrying or pulling your golf bag. During the average game of golf you can walk around five to six miles.”
I started picking up this game at the age of 40 after joining the Golf for Beginners’ Courses organised by SJCAA; and I have been playing golf regularly since then!
Do you want to begin your own golf journey? A sport that your could possibly play “till the last day of your life”?
