Forty Alumni took part in the 13th SJCAA Golf Day held at the CTS Tycoon (Shenzhen) Golf Club (港中旅聚豪(深圳)高爾夫球會) on 3 December 2014.
After arriving at the club and warm up, the Golf Day was officially started by a tee-off ceremony by Dr. Cho Kwai Chee (our key sponsor) and Mr. Vincent Chiu (Chairman of SJCAA).
The inter-floor golf competition was then immediately started by short-gun on the E & F courses. After nearly four and half hours of keen competition, Fifth Floor Fraternity with a total score of 366 for the best 4 players (Mr. Arthur Ling, Mr. Edmond Wu, Mr. Karlos Fung and Dr. Tommy Ng) won the Inter-floor Golf Champion.
Men’s Gross Champion was Mr. Karlos Fung 5/F (87) and Men’s Net Champion was Mr. Edmond Wu 5/F (72.4) and Men’s Net Runner-Up was Mr. Vincent Cheung 1/F (72.6). The Ladies Net Champion went to Ms. Iris Hau 8/F (74.2). The Best Pair (Men) went to Mr. Carven Tsang 2/F + Mr. William Ho 2/F (78).
On the other hand, Men’s nearest to the pin in two holes were Mr. Godwin Lee 1/F and Mr. Chen Ken 1/F. The Longest Drive (Ladies) went to Ms. Daisy You 8/F and (Men) Mr. Kevin Ng 6/F.
After the game, our participants gathered in a nearby restaurant where the “late lunch” were served followed by the prize presentation and lucky draw.
Everyone had a good day of golfing and many of them returned with good prizes / souvenirs, if not, a great memory.
