80 St. Johnians and Alumni coming back to the College, many with their children or friends to attend a special High Table dinner organised for the reunion of the 70’s and 80’s alumni.
Prior to the dinner was the Hall tour when our Alumni could show where they lived 30 years ago to their children!
Sherry at the Senior Common with green gowns for the children and black gowns for the alumni and their spouses set up a good atmosphere for the High Table.
After then, they all enjoyed our standard 4 courses Chinese high table dinner at the newly renovated Danny Ho Bradbury Hall.
The highlight of the evening came when all the guests and alumni went to the Senior Common Room to listen to the High Table talk by our guest – the Hon Lee Cheuk Yan.
A lot of discussions about the democratic and union movement in HK was raised and Lee shared with us his own view and experience in this area; and even some of his unforgettable experience during the June-4th incident 1989!
The discussion went on till 9:30 pm bringing back a full High Table memory and new experience to our alumni and their guests respectively.
