This year’s Golf Malayan Cup, SJCAA vs RHOBA, will be held on
18-05-2011 (Wed) in Macau Golf & Country Club (MGCC).
The tee time will be around 11:00 a.m., with a buffet served after the
game. The enrollment fee for the event is HK$1500 (excludes
transportation).
We have tees for social players too.

Format: Four-ball Better Ball Match Play (with handicap)
Rules
1 Blue tees to be used.
2 Old and Ancient St. Andrew’s Rules to be applied but subject to the local rules of MGCC and the following rules.
3 To avoid slow play, the maximum number of strokes for each hole is double par. Pick up your ball if you cannot finish the hole after playing double par. Cross out the hole not completed.
4 The four-ball better ball match play (with handicap) format will be adopted.
4.1 24 players of each team shall be divided into 3 Divisions of eight players each.
4.2 Two players of RH Team will play against two players of SJC Team.
4.3 Players shall play according to 70% of their HKGA or other club handicaps. The handicap will then be converted to the course handicap of MGCC.
4.4 The player with lowest handicap in the flight shall play at zero handicap. The other players shall be given strokes according to the difference in handicap.
4.5 The winner of the match is decided by the number of holes won and lost by the pair with account of the handicap.
4.6 The team shall compete for 1 point for Front 9, 1 point for Back 9 and 1 point for 18 holes.
4.7 The accumulated points of RH Team and SJC Team shall be calculated to determine the winning team.
5 Players shall return signed score card to the Committee.
