We are pleased to announce that the 7th SJCAA Golf Day 2007 (第七屆聖莊高球日) will be held on 16 November 2007 (Friday) at the Firestone Golf Club in Shenzhen (深圳光明高爾夫球會). As a matter of tradition, the event will be followed by early buffet dinner in the Clubhouse during which Prize Presentation Ceremony will be held. Prizes worth over HK$20,000 will be given away on that day. We thank our patrons for their generosity and support.
Like last year, the Inter-Floor Champion will be decided by the total score of the best 4 players of the same floor. For individual competition, to encourage more younger St. Johnians to join, the men’s individual gross competition is divided into 2 divisions of different age groups.
With the generous patronage by Philip Li and Albert Chan, those who are the first time participants in the tournament part of this event can get $100 discount off the entry fee. Please join us and we guarantee you will have lots of fun.
Details of the event are as follows:-
Format
(1) Inter-floor Champion – Best of Four Competition The Floor counting the best 4 players with the lowest total gross scores will win the Inter-floor Champion. In the event of a tie, the champion will be decided by matching scorecards on the basis of the total scores of the 4 players of the last 9 holes; last 6 holes; last
3 holes and finally the 18th hole.
(2) Best Team of Two Competition
Two players from the same floor may form a team. The team of 2 players with the lowest total gross scores will win the Best Team Champion.
(3) Individual Stroke Play Competition
– Men’s Gross Champion
A. Mid Division (aged 35 or above, as on the match day) B. Junior Division (aged under 35, as on the match day)
– Men’s Net Champion (decided by New New Peoria)
– Ladies’ Gross Champion
– Ladies’ Net Champion (decided by New New Peoria)
– Men’s Longest Drive
– Ladies Longest Drive
– Closest to the Pin
– Most Supportive Floor
In the event that anyone wins both the Gross and Net Champion, he/she is entitled to the Gross Champion only. The runner-up of the second best net score will win the Net Champion.
All the above prizes are subject to final confirmation.

9:00am Gather at Huanggang
10:00am Arrive Firestone Golf Club
11:30am Tee off, 9 hole shot gun
5:30pm Buffet and prizes presentation
7:00pm Depart golf club to Huanggang
Entry fee
HK$880/person. Inclusive of green fee, caddy, golf cart, locker and dinner buffet.
– Early Bird Discount – $100 for registration with full payment on or before 5 Nov 2007.
– First Time Tournament Participant Discount – $100.
If you are the first time tournament participants and pay by Nov 5, you just need to pay $680!!

Spouse/Guest Policy
Spouse and their children aged 18 or above are welcomed to join the leisure golfing. No guest will be allowed for this event unless the reserved flights are not filled up.
Cancellation Policy
No refund after payment. Replacement allowed if circumstances allow.
Transportation
Coach will be arranged to pick up at Huangguang 皇崗 (China side after crossing the border) to the Club and return after the event back to Huanggang. Participants may also arrange their own transportation.
