Beijing Reunion Dinner

Along with the further economic integration between Hong Kong and the mainland, many St. Johnians have been moved to the mainland particularly in big cities like Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou. In addition to this group of St. Johnians, there are also significant numbers of mainland graduates, who had stayed in our postgraduate wing, is currently back to the mainland. Indeed, many of our mainland graduates are judges, legal professionals and government officials. In light of this growing trend of St. Johnians on the mainland, the College, together with the Alumni Association will organize a reunion dinner in Beijing – China!

Rev. Paul Tong, Prof. C.K. Wong and representatives from the Alumni Association will attend the event in Beijing. We have also invited a significant St. Johnian, Mr. Thomas Tso, Director of HKSAR Government, Beijing Office to be our guest of honour.

Friday, 9th November
– Departing Hong Kong to Beijing in the morning at 10:40 am.
– Check-in Howard Johnson Paragon Hotel in Beijing noon
– Free afternoon

Saturday, 10th November
– Optional golf/sight-seeing in the morning/afternoon
17:00 Visit HKSAR Government Beijing Office
18:30 Cocktail at Jian Guo Hotel
19:00 Dinner at Jian Guo Hotel

Sunday, 11th November
– Optional golf/sight-seeing in the morning/afternoon
– Departing from Beijing at 5:30 pm

Transportation and 2 night accommodation: $3,000 (return economic air tickets to China, share twin bedroom in hotel, single room surcharge
Cocktail and Reunion Dinner: free of charge

Golf and sight-seeing activities will be arranged at additional costs.
