21 students (mostly 2nd year) have been allocated with jobs in the field of industry that they have chosen. Most of the internship students commenced the program on 13th June 2005, and the program came to an end on 22nd July, 2005, after a period of six weeks.

Before the internship program started, a workshop was held on the 7th of June in the Student Common Room of St. John’s, Vincent Chiu and Nixon Lee conducted a one-hour sharing with the students who would start their internship the following week. They offered some practical tips, such as office manners to the students on becoming a successful “employee” that students found very useful.

Barbie Ho, a year 2 BBA(Law) student who worked in Wealth Bridge Asia Ltd., expressed that she had great pleasure and learnt a lot through this internship program. It was an unforgettable experience to help out in a breakfast briefing at Mandarin Oriental Hotel and to get to meet a number of management level executives from well-known firms in the industry. She would like to express her gratitude to Nixon, her mentor for the internship program, for paying effort in taking care of her and making sure that she learnt something meaningful in every aspect.

The internship programme this year is another success.

Thank you once again to the alumni and their companies for supporting this program.
